Faculty Mentor Program The Faculty Mentor Program helps new students adjust to Mines. A faculty member or administrator becomes a mentor and adviser to eight to 10 students, meeting with them eight times during the fall semester as part of the Freshman Success Seminar. Students learn about the culture, history, traditions, resources, expectations and academic regulations at CSM.
